The Panos Network is a dynamic global partnership of seven independent institutes held together by a common mission and set of values.
'Panos London' was established in 1986 by journalist Jon Tinker, after leaving IIED, and the programme he ran there entitled Earthscan. The organisation's first major project was for Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) producing fourteen 10,000 word studies on the sustainability of Nordic aid programmes, written by journalists based in the recipient countries.
Panos London is mainly funded through external grants. We would like to thank all our donors for their generous support which underpins our unique programme of activities.
