In Malawi, the government has secured US196 million dollars from the Global Fund to treat its HIV postive people. The good news is ARVs bought through the Global Fund are free, but the bad news?
It can cost the same as a month's salary for a junior civil servant or a primary school teacher to reach a clinic miles from home. Some people living with HIV do manage the journey.
