The 2001 World Conference against Racism aimed to agree on practical ways to take forward the global fight against racism, xenophobia and other forms of discrimination.

In South Africa the system of apartheid has been wiped out and replaced with one of the most progressive and radical constitutions in the world. But what’s life like on the ground?

In Johannesburg, Nomsa Mwamuka talked to a group of teenage girls from different ethnic backgrounds and asked them if racism was alive and kicking.
