The biotechnology industry is experimenting with genetically modified trees with the aim of producing wood and paper more efficiently.

But environmental campaigners are worried that future GM forests will contaminate other trees and pose potential health risks to nearby populations.

Anne Petermann of the Global Justice Ecology Project voiced her concerns to Rod Harbinson.
