Up in smoke?

An aerial view of a forest with lots of smoke wafting through.

An ongoing series of reports exploring the key environment and development issues that are emerging across the globe as climate change begins to bite.

These joint publications from the Working Group on Climate Change and Developmentlook at why global warming threatens to reverse human progress, and make the international targets on halving global poverty by 2015, known as the Millennium Development Goals, unattainable.

The series addresses big questions on climate change and the particular challenges faced across Africa, Asia and the Pacific and Latin America and the Caribbean.
